What areas do you cover?
We cover Manchester and roughly 30 miles around it. Travel is free within 30 miles of our Cheetham Hill (M8) base on orders of £80 or more. This includes Stockport, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Wigan, and many other nearby towns. Please use our quote form to check if your area is covered.
Do you offer same-day service?
Same-day slots are available, subject to availability. Please contact us early in the day for same-day bookings.
Carpet Cleaning
How long does carpet cleaning take?
Most carpet cleaning jobs take 1-3 hours depending on the size of the area and the condition of the carpets. A standard 3-bedroom house typically takes around 2-3 hours. We'll provide an estimated time when we provide your quote.
How long until my carpets are dry?
Our truck-mounted extraction equipment removes most moisture during cleaning. Drying time depends on the carpet, how soiled it is, airflow and the weather. Good ventilation helps carpets dry faster, and thicker carpets or humid conditions can make drying take longer.
Is carpet cleaning safe for pets and children?
Absolutely! We use eco-friendly, non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning solutions that are completely safe for children, pets, and anyone with allergies or sensitivities. Our products are pH-balanced and contain no harsh chemicals. Your family can return to the room as soon as the carpets are dry.
How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
We recommend professional carpet cleaning every 6-12 months for most homes. High-traffic areas or homes with pets, children, or allergy sufferers may benefit from cleaning every 3-6 months. Regular cleaning extends carpet life, improves air quality, and maintains appearance.
Do you move furniture?
Yes, we include moving of light furniture (chairs, coffee tables, etc.) as part of our standard service at no extra charge. We ask that you remove fragile items, electronics, and very heavy furniture (like beds, wardrobes, and large bookcases) before we arrive.
Can you remove all stains?
While we can remove most common stains including wine, coffee, pet stains, food, and dirt, some stains may be permanent depending on the type of stain, how long it's been there, and previous cleaning attempts. We offer a specialized stain removal service and will always do our best to achieve the best possible results. We'll advise you honestly about what to expect during our pre-inspection.
Upholstery Cleaning
What types of upholstery can you clean?
We can clean virtually all types of upholstery including fabric sofas, leather furniture, armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans, office chairs, and more. We work with all fabric types including cotton, linen, velvet, microfiber, silk, wool, and synthetic materials. We use fabric-specific cleaning methods to ensure the best and safest results.
How long does upholstery take to dry?
Drying time varies depending on the fabric type and cleaning method used. Drying time depends on the carpet, how soiled it is, airflow and the weather. Leather and items cleaned with low-moisture methods dry faster than fabric cleaned with hot water extraction.
Will cleaning damage or fade my furniture?
No. We always test our cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area first to ensure color-fastness and fabric compatibility. We identify the fabric type first and use an appropriate cleaning method. We use pH-balanced, color-safe products specifically designed for upholstery cleaning.
Can you clean leather furniture?
Yes! We offer specialized leather cleaning and conditioning services. Our process safely cleans leather, removes dirt and body oils, and applies a conditioning treatment that moisturizes and protects the leather, helping to prevent cracking and extend its life.
Pricing & Booking
How much does carpet cleaning cost?
Carpet cleaning starts from £25 a room. A small room (up to 9m²) is £25, a medium room (9 to 14m²) is £35 and a large room (14 to 20m²) is £45. A hallway is £20, a landing £15 and stairs £40. Over 30m², winder stairs and very long staircases are priced after a quick look at photos or a visit. Sofas, mattresses and rugs are on our full price list.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Minimum booking £80 per visit. Stairs and landing are free when you clean 3 or more rooms.
Do you charge for travel?
We cover Manchester and roughly 30 miles around it. Travel is free within 30 miles of our Cheetham Hill (M8) base on orders of £80 or more.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. Spot treatment of normal marks and a deodoriser are included with every clean. The only extras are specialist stain treatment (£15 per stain) and pet odour treatment (£30 per room), and only if you ask for them.
How do I book a service?

What is your cancellation policy?
Call or message us as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, and we will find you a new slot.
Referral Programme
How does the referral programme work?
After your first booking, you'll receive a unique referral code via email. Share that code with friends, family, or neighbours. When they book a cleaning service and use your code, you earn credit towards your next clean once their job is completed.
How do I get my referral code?
Your unique referral code is sent to your email automatically after your first booking with Blowup Cleaners. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email containing your personal referral code.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No. You can refer as many people as you like, and every successful referral earns you credit.
When do I receive my referral credit?
Your credit is added to your account once the person you referred completes their cleaning job. You'll receive an email confirmation showing your updated balance.
Can I use multiple referral credits on one booking?
Yes. Your referral credits accumulate in your account, and you can apply your balance to a single booking.
Can I refer myself or use my own code?
No, self-referrals are not permitted. The referral code cannot be used by the same email address that generated it. The programme is designed to reward you for recommending our services to others.

What cleaning method do you use?
We primarily use the hot water extraction method (also known as steam cleaning) for carpets, which is recommended by carpet manufacturers and the most effective deep cleaning method. For upholstery, we use fabric-appropriate methods including hot water extraction, low-moisture cleaning, or dry cleaning depending on the material. All our equipment is professional-grade and truck-mounted for maximum power.
Do you use eco-friendly products?
Yes, we exclusively use eco-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic cleaning solutions that are safe for your family, pets, and the environment. Our products are highly effective while being gentle on your carpets, upholstery, and the planet. They contain no harsh chemicals or toxic fumes.
What should I do to prepare for your visit?
Please vacuum your carpets beforehand if possible (not required but helpful). Remove small items, breakables, and valuables from the areas to be cleaned. Clear access paths to the areas. We recommend removing light furniture or we can do this for you. If you have pets, please secure them in a separate area during cleaning for their safety and ours.
